Munchie Cuisine was established in 2020, when many American businesses were having to adapt to doing business through the Novel Coronavirus of 2019. Thriving on growth and with a thirst for knowledge, Chef QD started learning and cooking more from home - never one to back down rom a challenge. That quickly grew into what is now “Munchie Cuisine: A Fusion Restaurant."
"Munchie" is both a common and colloquial word describing a “snack eaten to satisfy hunger.” It also evokes images of joyfully enjoying a quick bite alone or with friends.
Chef found motivation and inspiration in her kids after watching cooking shows while pregnant, recreating recipes, and even creating her own personal cookbook.
Munchie Cuisine now serves regional customers of all tastes. What began as an out-of-home to-go and delivery service is now a brick and mortar location on a major thoroughfare in Wharton, Texas.

Chef QD was born in Atlanta, Georgia. Her birria is so good, the Lone Star State has pardoned her. She became a Texan at the age of 5 when she and her mom moved to Missouri City, Texas. Graduating from LV Hightower High School in 2007 where she was an ROTC cadet, she went on to graduate with a Culinary Arts degree from Auguste Escoffier in 2020. Chef QD has a son and is living her best life, making waves in rural Texas with the BEST DAMN BIRRIA there is.
